We grow a few varieties of hardneck garlic.  They are mixed together at this time of year for bulk sales.
These varieties have approximately five to seven large cloves. They are very easy to peel, mostly white, skinned, and a bit more mild in flavor (but still very garlicky, just not the spicy spicy stuff).
All garlic comes out to approx $12/pound, but you get just a little more per pound the more you buy. So the single head might be $13/pound and the $20 bag might be $11/pound.
